My New Neighbor

I just got a new neighbor at Pune resident. He is much hyped and media’s hot cake Mr. Sanjay Dutt. Even his reason becoming my neighbor is not very reasonable but still he is here. After getting sentence from TADA court, he transferred from Mumbai jail to historical Yerwada jail in Pune.

Here Yearwada jail is historical because this is eyewitness of our father of nation Mr. M.K. Gandhi’s stay. Definitely this is coincidence that Sanjay’s latest hit “Lage Raho Mumma Bahi” was also strongly supporting the Mahatma’s ideology of “Ahinsa” with new name “Gandhigiri”. And now Sanjay is on the same place where years ago Mahatma spends some days of his life.

I heard and read lot about people who are supporting and saying that it is injustice for Sanjay with those who are saying that at last law of India won over celebrity status of Sanjay.

My opinion about this case is that, since I am not having all the details about Sanjay’s case like any other common people of nation, so he should get what any body deserves for this type of cases under law of India.

“Sanjay should not get the benefit of his celebrity status or should not pay for same reason”.

But definitely this is a bad reason to give him innocent status on basis of his good acting skills, for big hits, for a son of a father who was a MP, for a son of a mother who played role in “Mother India”.
I think, Sanjay got a big relief on the day when he released under TADA case and considered under arms act only. And I think that was the day when his background worked for him otherwise life could be more difficult for him now.
